Wendy and Rita are a duo of racers, Nugget Nose's friends and one of the main characters of Yogi's Space Race, a spin-off of The Yogi Bear Show.

According to their biographies shown in the episode, "The Spartikan Spectacular", on the Fuddy Dude Ranch, Rita's clear head and Wendy's resourcefulness made them naturals as first-rate recreational directors and working indoors at the ranch, their balance put icing on Fenwick Fuddy's cake which made him furious. With their sidekick, Nugget Nose, they turned the ranch into a real desert oasis.
