Ruff is a short anthropomorphic cat with brown fur, a tan muzzle, a black nose, black eyes, black eyebrows, whiskers, a tuft of hair on top, and a short tail. His set of clothes only consists of a lavender blue bowtie.
In the Max original series, Jellystone!, Ruff is a robot with orange metal skin and tan metal highlights on his muzzle and ears, and it has the same lavender blue bowtie.
