Loopy De Loop is an anthropomorphic wolf and a recurring character of the Yogi Bear franchise. He had his own series of theatrical animated shorts created by Hanna-Barbera and distributed by Columbia Pictures that ran from 1959-1965.
Background[]
Loopy is a "friendly wolf," unlike most other wolves, who tries to prove to those that not all wolves are necessarily bad.
Personality[]
Loopy considers himself to be a charming, kind-hearted, nice, friendly, supportive, and considering wolf. He makes a living by being a good Samaritan, using his kindness to persuade people of clearing the bad reputation he gets. In Yo Yogi!, he runs a small Restaurant that tends to stress him out during Lunch Hours, as he gets a huge amount of Customers.
In the Jellystone! Version of Loopy de Loop who is a female, Loopy's Personality goes into a complete opposite overhaul where she is instead sarcastic and deadpan. She often makes seemingly unhelpful or even destructive suggestions, despite the original intention is to be a "good wolf". Also, she does not mind to do something wrong like robbing a bank, stealing money from the register at her place of work and even burn down the place down. However, she is good friend with her fellow employee, Jabberjaw who also made into a female for Jellystone!.
Physical Appearance[]
Loopy is a tall and slender anthropomorphic Quebecois wolf with brown fur, tan highlights on his muzzle, hands, and feet, pointy ears, a black nose, black eyebrows, and black eyes. He wears a yellow knit toque and a matching scarf.
As a female in the Max original series, Jellystone!, she has black eyelashes, purple eyelids, and a taupe tip on her tail, and wears a yellow beret as well as a striped scarf.

Notes/Trivia[]
- In the Max original series Jellystone!, she is portrayed as a female. Whereas her original counterpart is a highly sentimental gentleman, Loopy is far-less friendly in this series and is more quick to make a deadpan one-liner.
- Additionally, during production, Melody Iza, herself a transgender artist, suggested for Loopy to be turned into a female character mid-production. Iza suggested the same change to Baba Looey (known as Bobbie Louie) and Squiddly Diddly.
