Jellystone National Park, or simply Jellystone Park, is a fictional national park located somewhere in the western United States. It is likely a parody of Yellowstone National Park
While the park is typically teeming with visitors, it's occasionally at risk of being shut down for
lack of funding.
- The Huckleberry Hound Show
- The park itself is a reference to Yellowstone National Park, a real-life national park that's located mostly in Wyoming with certain parts of it in both Montana and Idaho.
- Most of the films resort to using Jellystone's imminent closure as a subplot, which features Yogi inevitably saving it through the film's main plot.
- The name "Jellystone National Park" was originally used in Barney's Hungry Cousin, a 1953 theatrical short in the Barney Bear series, produced by MGM.
