James William Ercolani (known by his stage name as James Darren) is an American television and film actor, television director, singer and a former teen idol. He starred in the Gidget film series, and had regular roles in the TV series, The Time Tunnel and T.J. Hooker. He also had a recurring role on Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, near the show's run.
