Huckleberry Hound (known as Huck) is an anthropomorphic dog who speaks Southern Drawl with a Southern Drawl accent and one of the main characters of the Yogi Bear franchise.
Background[]
Huck is a good friend of Yogi Bear, who joined the latter in several of his groups including Yogi's Gang from the series of the same name, the Yogi Yahooeys from Laff-a-Lympics, Yogi's Treasure Hunters from Yogi's Treasure Hunt, and the L.A.F. Squad from Yo Yogi!. His occurring gag is singing "Oh My Darling, Clementine" to himself, although he doesn't seem to notice how off-key he sounds.
Personality[]
Huck's cheerful, kind-hearted, friendly and relaxed personality, easygoing and laid-back nature and enterprising spirit never seems to faulter, but he seems to keep his cool without ever losing his temper. He is also a gentle soul through and through and is always someone to count on.
Physical Appearance[]
Huck is a slender anthropomorphic coonhound with blue fur, a tan muzzle, a black nose, thick black eyebrows, a black tip on his tail and black ears. He mainly wears a zig-zag straw boater hat with a polka-dotted band and a red bow tie.
In the series, Laff-a-Lympics, as part of the Yogi Yahooeys, he wears a red-orange T-shirt with a white "Y" on it.
As a teenager in Yo Yogi!, he had a tuft of hair and wore an orange hat backwards, a yellow and blue short-sleeved jacket with an orange undershirt.
