Grape Ape is an anthropomorphic giant ape and a recurring character of the Yogi Bear franchise.
Background[]
Grape Ape's catchphrase is saying his name twice ("Grape Ape, Grape Ape") after anything anyone says, usually as a form of agreement or acknowledgement of what was said.
Personality[]
Although a well-meaning, good-natured, lovable, and kind-hearted creature, Grape Ape has the intelligence of a child, and is prone to make mistakes by accident (typically in huge consequences).
Physical Appearance[]
Grape Ape is a giant forty-foot-tall anthropomorphic ape with purple skin, and light purple highlights on his hands, feet, and face, a tuft of hair on top of his head, black eyes, black eyebrows, and freckles on his cheeks. His clothing consists of a green cap, a green bow tie, and a green shirt.
In the series, Laff-a-Lympics, as part of the Yogi Yahooeys, he wears a red-orange T-shirt with a white "Y" on it.
