Dread Baron is Dick Dastardly's twin brother, a member of the Really Rottens on Laff-a-Lympics, and a recurring character of the Yogi Bear franchise.

Much like his brother, Dick Dastardly, Dread is mean-spirited, selfish and would only care about himself and getting his hands on whatever would make him rich.
In Laff-a-Lympics, he is capable of using cheating as a way to win, usually by sabotaging the other teams' courses or by helping his own teammates cheat, but would usually get caught in the end and having either be disqualified from the contest or having points deducted. Usually, he would go around with Mumbly, similar to how Dick Dastardly would go around with Muttley.
Physical Appearance[]
Much like his brother, Dick Dastardly, Dread is a tall and very skinny man with fair skin and a classic melodrama villain look including a long pointy nose, a thin, curled-up mustache, black hair, black eyebrows, and black eyes. He wears a moss green World War I styled German military uniform and a helmet with a golden yellow broom and feather-like plume on top of it, a golden yellow scarf, a brown belt with a gold buckle, long brown gloves, and long brown boots.
In the series, Laff-a-Lympics, as part of the Really Rottens, he wears a dark green vest top with a white "R" on it.

- Due to legal issues, Dick Dastardly and Muttley from Wacky Races (characters co-owned by Heatter-Quigley Productions) were replaced with Dread Baron and Mumbly, respectively.
- In a comic book, it was revealed that Dick Dastardly and Dread Baron are brothers.
- The character's name is an obvious pun on the name of the infamous World War I flying ace, the Red Baron.
