Doggie Daddy is an anthropomorphic dog, Augie Doggie's father and one of the main characters of the Yogi Bear franchise.
Background[]
He always tries to do the best he can at raising his rambunctious son Augie. Their mutual admiration included Daddy gently chiding, "Augie, my son, my son", when he would disappoint his father, and when his son would say or do something that inspired pride, Daddy would turn to the audience and say with a grin, "Dat's my boy who said dat!"
Additionally, they are friends with Yogi Bear, having joined his different teams over the years including Yogi's Gang from the series of the same name, the Yogi Yahooeys from Laff-a-Lympics, and Yogi's Treasure Hunters from Yogi's Treasure Hunt.
Physical Appearance[]
He is a tall and slender anthropomorphic dachshund with orange fur, a tan muzzle, huge black ears, black eyes, black eyebrows, a black nose, and three strands of hair. He is typically seen wearing only a trademark purple collar.
In the series, Laff-a-Lympics, as part of the Yogi Yahooeys, he wears a red-orange T-shirt with a white "Y" on it.
As the owner of Jellystone Mall, known as Diamond "Doggie" Daddy in Yo Yogi!, he wore a blue long-sleeved jacket with black lapels, a black bowtie with three black diamond-shaped buttons, a white inside shirt with a bottom purple border.
