- This is Winnie Witch's first appearance or a prototype of an identical named witch in the Winsome Witch shorts used for The Secret Squirrel Show in 1965. She is still voiced by Jean Vander Pyl, but looks human and sounds gentler. She appeared with Yogi again in the Fender Bender 500 segments in the 1990 TV series, Wake, Rattle & Roll and the Max original series, Jellystone!.
- Additionally, her magical broom also made a first appearance in this short before The Secret Squirrel Show.
